Baisakhi is one of the most popular and important festivals celebrated in Punjab and various other parts of India. It is a vibrant harvest festival, and this auspicious day is important to the farmers as they offer thanks to the Almighty and pray for good crops in the near future. Ambedkar Jayanti is an annual festival observed on 14th April to commemorate the memory of B.R.Ambedkar. A special assembly was organized at Presidium by students of Grades 6 and 7 on a virtual platform to celebrate both Baisakhi and Ambedkar Jayanti. Students participated enthusiastically and gave an electrifying dance performance. The significance of the festivals was told by the students through speeches and enactments. Students also cited Ambedkar Ji's birth and his contribution in the framing of our Indian Constitution and also its application which is our future responsibility.
